Rwanda’s Eastern province is well known for maize growing and animal rearing. The area faces challenges stemming from unreliable climate for farming. The first time I visited the maize fields, I met Ange, a DOT Rwanda Business Coach. Ange grew up on a maize farm in Eastern Rwanda and farming is in her blood.

Kwizera is a young man residing in a community that had few options for clean water. After going through DOT Rwanda's Social Enterprise Competition, he knew he had to act. Kwizera is taking this community challenge, and turning it into a business with an impact.

DOT Rwanda opens doors for young people. DOT youth receive access to learning opportunities within and outside the country. In this story, Martial Batangana shares his experience visiting South Korea. Martial is a DOT Rwanda youth leader Alumnus. He participated in the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) fellowship program dubbed 'ICT Center Operation and Education Capacity Development' for a period of 14 days in 2016.
